Private Features
Keep internal features hidden from your public board
Private features are only visible in your team workspace and completely hidden from public boards. Use this for internal planning, customer-specific work, or anything you don't want to share publicly yet.
Who Can See Private Features
Team members — Anyone on your team can see private features in the admin dashboard.
Public viewers — Private features don't appear on your public board, roadmap, or anywhere else outside your team workspace.
Private features are filtered out before they reach the public. They won't show up in lists, searches, or the roadmap.
When to Use Private Features
Internal planning — Track backend improvements, infrastructure upgrades, or technical debt that users don't need to know about.
Customer-specific work — Build features for specific clients without cluttering the public board.
Competitive features — Work on features you don't want competitors to see until launch.
Early planning — Keep ideas private until you're ready to share them with your community.
Marking Features as Private
When creating or editing a feature, check the Private box in the feature dialog. That's it.
You can toggle this on and off at any time. When you make a private feature public, it appears on your board immediately.
Important Notes
Private features don't collect public votes or comments. They're purely for your team's internal tracking.
If you mark a feature with existing votes as private, those votes stay attached. Making it public again restores everything.
Private features still appear in your admin dashboard, analytics, and reports. They're only hidden from the public.
